My name is Susan Frey.

I am a wife, mother, grandmother, Christian, Certified Personal Trainer, and Nutrition Coach (ISSA).

Like many others, I have struggled with my weight and self-esteem throughout my entire life.

Along my journey to a healthier lifestyle, I have discovered that there are three pillars that keep me balanced.  They are Healthy Eating, Physical Fitness, and Spiritual Health

I believe that ALL of the things we feed our body affect us.  This includes not just food and exercise, but also our relationships, (with people and with God), our self-talk, what we listen to, and what we watch on TV.   

All these become part of who we are and how we handle challenges in our life. 

So if you’re looking for something more than the latest diet or trendy workout routine, you’ve come to the right place.   Oh, we’ll cover diet and exercise, too.  But, we’ll take it a step further by also focusing on our spiritual journey, and how that affects the rest of our lives. 

You may be asking, “Do I have to be a Christian to benefit from this website?”   The answer is no.  (Although my prayer is that everyone who comes to this site will find the love and saving grace of Jesus).

There is something for everyone here.  Especially if you want to take your health journey to a higher level. 

I originally started this website because I love food and I love to cook.  But not all of the food that I loved and grew up eating fits into the healthy lifestyle that I want to live.

I believe that eating healthy can be delicious and satisfying without having to spend hours in the kitchen.

So, I wanted to share my ideas on how to make your favorite recipes with healthier ingredients as well as cooking them in healthier ways. 

That’s where The Pampered Chef comes in.  I have always loved their products.

I don’t know what I would do without my Pampered Chef Deluxe appliances!  The Air Fryer, Cooking Blender, Multi Cooker, and now the new Deluxe Blender!

They not only save me time in the kitchen, but they also help make cooking ‘healthier’ a breeze!

I love the challenge of taking a recipe that would be taboo on a “diet” and turning it into a healthy, tasty dish that can be enjoyed on a regular basis, guilt-free!
